Channeling Light...Or Not? - A Dialogue with Aruna Byers, Channeling St. Germain

I’ve been involved in a dialogue with a woman who claims to be channeling spirit, offering channeled messages from St. Germain. Aruna Byers is a self described “awakened” life coach who has been offering messages from her Saint Germain channeling since the early 1980’s. Is Aruna Byers actually channeling light? I'll leave that up to each individual who reads her Saint Germain channeling. However, these messages appear to me to be suspect as they seem to offer a very narrow perspective and also because they seem to be of a very negative nature.

Many of these channeled messages prophesize the physical/material upheaval and end of our world as we currently know it, complete with days of darkness and complete economic collapse. St. Germain attributes this impending and imminent collapse to man’s overall greed and corruption. I personally do not share this vision and feel a need to speak about it as we’re in a time where many are vulnerable to messages of doom. Channeling light is about uplifting the consciousness of others, not weighting it down.

I’m an avid believer in the reality of channeled messages and channeling light, but also an advocate of approaching all messages where one claims to be channeling spirit, with a certain amount of caution. We should always weigh the words of anyone who says they are channeling light, against our own inner guidance to first assess if the message resonates.

How do we know when someone is actually channeling light? Legitimate channeled messages that are of the light will cause a feeling of expanded consciousness to occur within us.

If channeled material does not resonate does that mean that the one doing the channeling is being dishonest or is a charlatan? No it does not. In some cases, real channeled messages may be in the process of being accessed, but the channel him/herself may be ‘filtering’ the information through their own biases and beliefs. In such a case, the channeled material will likely be inaccurate.

It’s also possible that the person bringing forth the channeled material may not be channeling light. They may in fact be tuning in to a vibration that is not of the highest of energies and thus will be giving channeled material that is not of fully expanded consciousness.

We’re all individuals and the channeled material that may resonate with one may leave another cold. One of my favorite people who is well known for channeling light, is Esther Hicks who Channels a group energy called “Abraham.”

The channeled messages of Abraham are in my opinion, the real deal. Esther Hicks is absolutely channeling Light. The teachings of Abraham never waver, never contradict and are always of love and expanded consciousness.

My own experiences with channeling spirit reveal similar messages, although they are certainly not identical nature and I do not consider myself to be anywhere near Esther in terms of my channeling ability. Esther Hicks clearly possesses a strong skill to completely open herself up to these loving, joyful energies and to do so at will. For most of us, channeled messages of positivity and light resonate much stronger than channeled messages of doom and judgment. It's all dependent upon our own personal vibration.

In my most recent responses to Aruna Byers and her supposed Saint Germain channeling, I’ve asked her some questions regarding what appears to me to be glaring inconsistencies in the channeled messages themselves. Such contradictions as saying in one instance that “man CAN affect impending disasters with his thought” and then saying later that he cannot, have caused great curiosity within me.

Aruna Byers has been for the most part generous and patieint in taking the time with her Saint Germain channeling to address my questions. Her continued choice to engage me in this dialogue lends credibility in my mind to her level of integrity and her own level of legitimate belief that she is truly channeling St. Germain. I'll fully admit, I’m still far from convinced regarding whether or not Aruna Byers is channeling light or not.

This is the most contact I have had to my chelas of the next age of man, for my conscious delivery of cosmic awareness, since G.W. Ballard accepted my channeling. My conscious channel continues to deliver my messages as a most dedicated calling, and she will not alter anything I say to adapt my message or my control.

My Response:

I am pleased to hear that this discourse has had a positive effect and is bringing forth abundant channeled messages to your followers. It is also having a similar effect on this end.

Now, my friend of many lifetimes, who cannot fully accept that my messages are mine, must give this new actualization of her attempts to discredit my channel an aware look. Co-creating dismay for the men and women coming to my blog cannot give anyone any happiness. I AM consciousness does not drive mind’s attitudes into a conscious drama of disturbance for anyone. I AM consciousness is quiet, aware, and not divisive.

My Response:

Whether or not I fully accept that these messages come from the expanded consciousness of Aruna herself or that she is actually channeling St. Germaine, matters not. I do sense that these words emanate from a place of honest intent. I am not so much trying to ‘discredit’ the channel as I am attempting to elicit explanation and to engage in stimulating dialogue. Dialogue that includes disagreement often brings higher levels of clarity for all involved. I’ve never been one to simply accept the words or beliefs of another. I believe ALL should uphold their own personal/internal voice of spirit above all outside voices. We all have direct access to this inner guidance.

Conscious, respectful dialogue need never result in drama, disturbances or dismay.

Aruna Byers Channeling St. Germain:

Many dramas are about denial. Those who are denying that corruption exists are not going to get the message now, and will do nothing to get out of their confident attitude about change. So Be It! Can my messages give them aid? Not to those who won’t agree to open their eyes.

My Response:

What you deem as ‘denial’ can be seen instead as a choice to turn the focus towards that which is positive and of love. You need not actively “turn away” from that which you deem as negative, you can simply choose to expand your perspective or conscious awareness to include the good. This inclusion allows you to then choose to place your focus upon the good, intently. This naturally cancels out the negativity, much as the light cancels out the dark. All change of a positive nature begins with desire, but if we continue to focus upon the unwanted thing that sparked our desire, we cannot enter into the sphere of creation where our desire can become our reality. Instead we must allow our focused conscious awareness to move to the desired outcome, to FEEL it in our heart, to BELIEVE it, to LIVE it!

Are most of the humans on Gaia giving, loving and making a difference? Absolutely not! More are only concerned about their own details than can be imagined. Most are going out of their comfort zone when they give to charities. Most are demanding all the abundance of God for themselves. Goodness is not the norm. Goodness does turn around things that can be altered by minor amounts of contribution, but no major dramas of this moment are being altered by the goodness of the masses.

What my dear friend of many lifetimes needs to convey to those who read her comments is Oneness, not divisiveness. Oneness looks like having the ability to concede her distrust and give her attention to more awareness of Oneness in her attitudes. Bless my dear one for her contribution to details. My attitude is always appreciation.

My Response:

From my vantage point, those who are channeling light are offering messages of love...of hope....of empowerment. I simply do not resonate with the fatalistic nature of this Saint Germain channeling, nor the dictatorial manner in which they are delivered.

While I do understand that outright derision of your Saint Germain channeling may not be welcome, I would think that queries about the nature and meaning of the messages themselves would be.

It seems to me that someone who is actually channeling light would relish the opportunity to demonstrate the loving intent and validity behind the message.

All of this said, as an individual, there is no doubt that I come at all of this with my own personal vibration and perceptions about what it means to be channeling spirit.

(Channeled words from my higher energies) From my vantage point, I only see the light, the good, the love. There is so much of it on earth if you simply look for it. The simple act of perceiving this goodness causes it to multiply. If you could see the beautiful, bright light of love that emanates from the earthly realm from the vantage point of spirit....fully expanded consciousness, you’d laugh to think that you ever doubted its existence.

All ability to love and to give to others begins with an ability to love self. If humanity suffers from anything, it’s a lack of love of self. It is only through love and acceptance of self that we have anything of value to give to another. Self love is the first step to oneness consciousness.

The level of consciousness where one finds himself honing his ability to engage in self love is not to be discredited. All are at the place of development that they are at. It is only through mastering self love that you expand into the realms of perception of oneness where you can develop an ability to freely give love to all people and all life scenarios that you encounter. Expanded consciousness is compatible with love.

In Summation:

Most religions have already done a pretty thorough job of causing us humans to feel bad about ourselves and unworthy. Many of us spiritual seekers have long ago moved on from this place. Focusing upon negative begets more negative. Period.

Anytime someone puts themselves out there, advertising themselves as an enlightened teacher, guru or someone who is channeling light or channeling spirit, they open themselves up to a certain amount of scrutiny. This scrutiny should not be seen as an attack but rather as an expected aspect of the position they’ve chosen to place themselves in. To announce yourself as an authority on anything invites challenge. When you claim to be channeling light, the message you relay must resonate as being of the light.

If someone is actually channeling light, they should have no problem with queries of discernment regarding the nature and content or their channeled message.

As humans, we do tend to ask a lot of questions. When it comes to matters of spirit, most of our minds become even more inquiring and more discerning. A discerning mind is always a good thing.
