Trying To Manifest Desires - How Much Action is Necessary?

We’ve all had the experience of trying to manifest desires through diligent action. Is hard work and physical action a necessary component when trying to manifest desires?

Can we manifest our desires without putting in a lot of physical time and effort? The quote below perfectly describes my perspective regarding the entire subject of manifesting desire.

Abraham Hicks Quote:

"Your action has nothing to do with your abundance! Your abundance is a response to your vibration. Of course, your belief is part of your vibration. So if you believe that action is part of“ what brings your abundance, then you’ve got to unravel that.

(Abraham - channeled by Esther Hicks – excerpted from the workshop in Chicago, IL on Saturday, April 24th, 1999 #473).

Trying to manifest desires - How much action do you believe is necessary?

belief is important!

The extent to which we believe that hard work, effort and action are a part of successfully manifesting desires IS the extent to which effort and action WILL be necessary.

Those who believe that hard work and diligent action are absolutely necessary to successfully manifest desires, will not experience success UNLESS they work hard and take a very physically active role in their effort. In fact, when 'effort' becomes involved to an degree, we are not properly using the law of attraction.

All experiences that follow beliefs become self fulfilling. When one who believes in the necessity of action perceives that his efforts have been lacking, he will fail to manifest desires. When he perceives that he’s put in ‘adequate’ action and effort, he will be more likely to see success.

Those who hold beliefs that say, “it is easy to manifest any desire and all we must do to realize success is to hold positive thoughts regarding that desire,” will find that they manifest desire without having to take laborious action. Circumstances will magically unfold to produce a reality that contains the fulfillment of their desire.

Our entire reality is created through the beliefs that we hold. Our thoughts and beliefs are the creative catalyst to all that we experience.

Whether we realize it or not, we are always using the law of attraction. In the same way that we experience gravity here on earth, It is always in play, never at rest.

We can never underestimate the power of belief or the power of thought. Successfully using the law of attraction means purposefully and consciously choosing our thoughts and becoming aware of our belief systems. Beliefs are merely the result of habitual thoughts. As such, they can be changed.

Despite my knowledge regarding the power of thought and the power of belief, I still sometimes catch myself falling into the trap of focusing upon action when I’m intent upon manifesting desires. When I become aware of this, I gently remind myself about the power of thought and the power of using the law of attraction to assist me in my intention to manifest my desires. No doubt about it though, old habits do die hard.

Next time you find yourself slaving away in the process of attempting to manifest desires, try to remember: The majority of the ‘work’ must occur within your mind. Once you’ve aligned your thoughts, beliefs and ultimately your vibration with your intention, regardless of action taken or not taken, it MUST manifest.

When we are using the law of attraction to our advantage, we’re on the fast track to manifesting desires. Obviously in a physical reality, action is a part of our experience. However, when we’re vibrating in alignment with our intention to manifest our desires, any action that we do feel compelled to take from this vantage point will be action that feels joyful to take. Such inspired action in fact, will be difficult to refrain from taking.
